Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file saved by a website in your browser. Session cookies normally expire when a session ends; persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until removed. Similar storage technologies, including local storage, can remember settings without using cookies. A technology’s purpose and the information it handles matter when deciding what notice and consent are needed.

Optional technologies and consent

The current site has no analytics, advertising, profiling or location-tracking tools to activate. Browsing the site is not treated as consent to optional tracking. If such tools are introduced, they must remain inactive until any required consent is obtained, with a way to refuse them and withdraw consent. The cookie inventory and policy must be updated at that time.

Current use

The current Vision Yoga website code does not set HTTP cookies and includes no analytics or advertising trackers. It uses browser local storage to remember your preferred language. Local storage is different from a cookie: it is stored in your browser and is not automatically sent with each request.

Language preference

Storage key: vision-language. Values: en or fr. Purpose: keep the website in your chosen language between visits. Provider: this website. Duration: until you clear it, your browser removes it, or it is replaced by a new language choice. It contains no name or contact details and is not used for advertising.

Managing your preference

You can change language with EN/FR, remove the stored preference with the button below, or clear site data in your browser settings. If storage is blocked, you can still browse the website and change language during your visit. Removing the saved preference does not delete emails or information held by external services.

External websites

Following a booking or social link opens a third-party website, which may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. The current website links to those services rather than embedding their tracking tools or players. Submitting the inquiry form also connects to FormSubmit for email delivery. Their settings must be managed on their own websites.

Hosting and future features

Any cookies introduced by the final hosting platform must be assessed before public launch. If optional analytics, advertising or embedded-media features are added, this policy and the controls for those technologies must be updated before activation.

Inquiry forms use FormSubmit’s verification step, which may involve Google reCAPTCHA. After a verified submission, FormSubmit sends an automatic confirmation and a copy of the inquiry to the email address supplied.
