Privacy policy

Website owner

Vision Yoga is a division of 8842507 Canada Inc. This policy describes personal information handled through this website and inquiries sent to Vision Yoga.

Privacy officer

Timothy Dunn is the privacy officer. For questions, requests or complaints, email tim.dunn.yoga@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy”.

Information you choose to provide

An inquiry may include your name, email, optional phone number, party size, destination, preferred travel week, and any message you provide. Please do not include medical information, passport details, payment card numbers, or sensitive information about other people in this form.

How the inquiry form works

When you select Send my inquiry, the form transmits your name, email, optional phone number, party size, destination, preferred week, notes and selected language to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the submission and forwards it to tim.dunn.yoga@gmail.com. FormSubmit states that submissions are retained in its archive for 30 days. Its processing and our email services may involve locations outside Québec or Canada. The form does not save your answers in browser storage; answers remain visible if sending fails. The final provider assessment must be completed before public launch.

Why information is used

Information you send is used to answer your inquiry, discuss suitable classes or travel options, prepare a proposal, and follow up on the services you request. Sending an inquiry is not a subscription to marketing messages. Information needed for a later booking will be explained at that stage.

Service providers and external sites

Email and website service providers may process information needed to deliver their services, potentially outside Québec or Canada. Booking through Idolem or Bsport and visiting Facebook or Instagram takes you to an external service with its own privacy practices. Travel arrangements requiring disclosure to an operator will be discussed with you before your information is shared.

Browser storage and technical information

The website remembers your language choice in local storage. No analytics tools, advertising pixels or embedded social/video players are included in the current website code. When hosted, the service delivering the website may process technical connection information, such as IP address and browser details. Hosting-related practices must be confirmed before public launch.

Retention and protection

Inquiry correspondence should be kept only as long as needed for the request, the resulting service and applicable legal obligations. Access should be limited to people who need it to provide the service. The final retention schedule and security procedures remain to be confirmed for launch. Email is not a suitable channel for sensitive medical or financial information.

What personal information means

Personal information is information about an individual that allows them to be identified directly or indirectly, such as their name, contact details, or information associated with an inquiry. Information that is genuinely anonymized is treated differently from identifiable information.

Consent and limiting collection

We request only the information needed for the purpose explained when it is collected. The name, email, party size, destination and preferred week fields are required to prepare a service inquiry; phone and notes are optional. You can instead contact Timothy Dunn directly. Refusing to provide necessary information may limit our ability to answer a request. An inquiry does not authorize unrelated marketing or unrestricted disclosure to travel partners.

Disclosure and processing outside Québec

Information may be handled by providers supporting email, hosting and website maintenance, limited to what is needed for those services. Disclosure to a travel operator or another organization for arranging a service will be explained to you and consent obtained where required. Disclosure may also be required or permitted by law. Before entrusting personal information to a provider outside Québec, the applicable assessment and contractual requirements must be addressed, considering the sensitivity, purpose, safeguards and legal framework. The final provider list and processing locations remain to be confirmed before launch.

Access, correction and other requests

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, how it is used, to whom it has been disclosed and how long it is retained. You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information and, where applicable under law, deletion, cessation of dissemination or portability of computerized information. Requests and consent withdrawals are assessed under applicable law, including any exceptions or retention duties. Withdrawing consent does not undo lawful earlier processing and may affect a service that depends on that information.

Privacy questions and complaints

Send your question or complaint to Timothy Dunn at tim.dunn.yoga@gmail.com, describing the concern and how we can contact you. Please avoid sending identity documents or sensitive information with your initial message. We may request appropriate identity verification before releasing personal information. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec through www.cai.gouv.qc.ca.

Children and sensitive information

The inquiry form is intended for adults arranging classes or holidays. A parent or guardian should contact us to discuss services for a child without entering the child’s personal information in the general inquiry form. Please contact Timothy Dunn first if a service requires discussion of sensitive information.

Updates

This draft reflects the current website design. Changes to forms, hosting, payments, newsletters, analytics or video embeds require a review of this policy before those features are introduced.

Inquiry forms use FormSubmit’s verification step, which may involve Google reCAPTCHA. After a verified submission, FormSubmit sends an automatic confirmation and a copy of the inquiry to the email address supplied.

Les formulaires utilisent l’étape de vérification de FormSubmit, qui peut faire appel à Google reCAPTCHA. Après un envoi vérifié, FormSubmit transmet une confirmation automatique et une copie de la demande à l’adresse courriel fournie.
